Every year in the Rotary world, we have a new theme. This year's theme, "Reach within to embrace humanity", was chosen by Rotary International President, Kalyan Banerjee, to be our focus for the 2011-2012 Rotary year, beginning 1 July 2011.

This theme calls us as Rotarians and citizens of our communities, our nation, and our world, to find the strength within ourselves to help us "encircle the world and embrace humanity". Embracing humanity may be as simple as planting vegetables to feed a hungry neighbor or as ambitious as drilling a well in Nigeria to provide a village with clean water.
The beauty of Rotary lies in the ability of each member to get involved in making their world a better place. Even the smallest Rotary club can make a large impact locally and globally. With 1.2 million Rotarians around the world working together to improve their world, magnificent things can happen!
The 'new face' of Rotary adds an avenue of service called "New Generations Service". Moravia Rotary has embraced this new face of Rotary by the addition of several young professionals to our club in the last year. Our club has been energized by the enthusiasm and new perspective these members have brought to us.
If you have ever wondered what Rotary is about, please take a few minutes to look over our site. Browse our photo albums and read our newsletters. See for yourself how much fun and fellowship we have as we work to live out Rotary's motto of Service Above Self. If you like what you see, drop us a line on the contact form or feel free to attend a meeting as our guest.
