Every year in the Rotary World, we have a new theme. This theme is chosen by the incoming Rotary International President and represents the focus for our service in the upcoming Rotary Year. This year's theme, chosen by Rotary International President Ray Klinginsmith, is:

What a perfect description of what Rotarians do in their communities, in their countries, in their world! Here in Moravia, this theme is very evident in our service projects.
We act locally in such services as our Community Vegetable Garden, where we partner with the local FFA and 4H Clubs to plant grow, and harvest vegetables to be donated to our Community Food Pantry.
We act nationally in such services as sending aid to areas of our nation that are dealing with natural disasters.
We act globally in such services as partnering with the Books For The World project to provide gently used textbooks and children's books to schools in Africa; helping to fund a ShelterBox® to house victims of the Haiti earthquake; and continuing the fight to wipe polio from the face of the earth.
As Rotarians, we live by the motto Service Above Self. Our club exemplifies that motto, and we have great fun and fellowship along the way! We are always looking for new members. So, take few minutes to review this web site; read our newsletters; look at our photo albums; see for yourself how fun and fulfilling service can be. And, if you should find yourself free on a Tuesday evening, join us at a meeting and see what Moravia Rotary is all about.
